Using work groups or departments in the project time tracker
Your company consists of several departments that work independently and in which there is a department manager or project manager in each department? When recording the times in the Xpert timer, the departments should be separated. One department is not allowed to see the projects and activities of the other department? In addition, do you want your project managers to be able to evaluate all the times recorded for their projects within the working group? No problem. You can map this with the working groups in the Xpert-Timer.
Each employee is assigned to one (in strict separation) or several work groups in the Xpert-Timer. In addition, a working group must be assigned to each project. Each working group has a person responsible or department head who should be given increased rights in the Xpert-Timer in order to view all projects and times recorded by his working group or department.
- Controlling can thus view all of the company's projects.
- Department heads only see the projects of the working group.
- Project managers only see the projects of your project team.
- Employees only see their assigned projects in the team.
